Ally's House
Ally’s House was established in 2004 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to provide support to pediatric cancer families of Oklahoma. This support is primarily in the area of financial assistance. To date, Ally’s House has processed more than 1,400 financial assistance applications for our families. Ally's House also funds Camp Live-A-Dream, a free summer camp for kids ages 9-18 who have or have had cancer. Bright Sky Ministry
Bright Sky Ministry began in 2018 to provide essentials to foster and kinship families across the state of Oklahoma. We fulfill this mission by purchasing NEW essential items and shipping them directly to the foster home to help ease the financial burden. Items include car seats, bed frames, mattresses, formula, diapers, clothing, high chairs, and more. Shipping these items allows us to meet the needs of even the most rural and under served areas of Oklahoma. In 2022, we expect to assist over 1,000 foster children with new items.
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma mission is “to raise awareness and provide resources, as well as promote acceptance and inclusion for people with Down syndrome. ”DSACO provides free tutoring services and IEP consolations, programs and workshops to foster independent living, parent support and resources. In addition, DSACO offers education and medical outreach materials, social engagement opportunities and advocates in the community. DSACO envisions communities where everyone, including those with disabilities, is accepted, respected, included, empowered, and given the opportunity and choice to create their own happiness and path to success. We strive to see the person first and not the diagnosis. DSACO serves more than 900 families in the central Oklahoma area from a prenatal diagnosis through adulthood.
DSACO empowers individuals with Down syndrome by promoting self- determination and self-advocacy as they make choices in life, work, and relationships. One of the goals is to educate families by providing quality support and information through inspiration, networking opportunities and educational programs. DSACO also strives to enhance communities by cultivating the community of professionals, leaders, and others so that anyone who impacts the lives of individuals with Down syndrome will welcome them with fairness, enthusiasm and encouragement.
Fostering Sweet Dreams
Our mission: "To Provide essential resources to Oklahoma's most vulnerable children."
OKC Crisis Nursery
OkCity Crisis Nursery was established in 2019 with the goal of partnering with parents and caregivers to prevent child abuse and neglect in Oklahoma. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer emergency care for children in times of crisis. There are never any fees for families to utilize the Nursery.
We understand not everyone has a village around to utilize when emergencies arise. So, we exist to help prevent children from being exposed to violence, stressful situations, unfit (or last minute) caregivers, or any other circumstances that can lead to child abuse and neglect.
In addition to caring for children, we also equip families with necessities during emergency situations such as clothing, diapers, formula, car seats, or any other items a family may need in times of crisis.
